Step 8 - Full Cure & Remove

Once all nails have received the manufacturer’s recommended full cure, gently pinch the forms to release and remove.

Step 9 - Cleanse & Shape

Remove the inhibition layer around the cuticle and under the free edge with IPA, then refine the free-edge shape.

If you do not hold an e-file qualification, skip this step and ensure the thickness is refined with your brush during Step 7.

Step 11 - Refine the Cuticle Area

Perfect the product around the cuticle using a suitable diamond bit, carbide bit or hand file.

Step 12 - Finish

Clean away dust with IPA, then apply your client’s chosen gel colour or top coat, curing each layer as directed by the manufacturer.

How to Care for Your Dual Forms

Clean after every use
Use a lint-free wipe and IPA.

Avoid acetone
Acetone can damage the material.

Store correctly
Return forms to their original box between uses.

Cut or permanently pinched forms should be treated as single-use.

How Do I Keep My forms Disinfected Between Uses?

Ensure you thoroughly wash and sanitise your client's hands before starting the treatment. The dual forms will be in contact with the product only.

After use, they must be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol (70–99.9%), which will thoroughly clean away any leftover product residue and also kill bacteria.

When to Replace

It's time to replace your form when:

Loss of clarity/shine • Reduced flexibility • Cracking • Brittleness • Difficulty releasing from cured product
